Tragedy Strikes again ? with Trinity Catholic Colleges Romeo and JulietThis year Trinity Catholic College?s annual achievement was Romeo and Juliet, enjoin by ray of light Derrett and Genevieve Lewis, was absolutely atrocious! In fighting scenes the actors appeared to be dance!?Romeo and Juliet? is set in a sm alone Italian village, Palermo, in 1952. The play features scenes in beggar Laurence?s church and the Capulet?s house. Throughout the production the actors compete their parts poorly and unbelievably. Its awe-inspiring that the same school that produced stand years smash name ?The Outsiders?, could produce close tothing so deficient in everything! Dramatic tensity was non-existent and the plan had the audience bore to weeping in proceedings!Lighting was sub-standard and fairly plain, with spotlights bring out main characters. The costumes were original and authentic, with the couch wearing, for the majority of the play, semi-formal wear. The Montague?s wore red and white and the Capulet?s wore black. The set features a leaning stage with towers on all side decorated with put on plants. In the beginning the fundamental families are situated on either side on their own tower, symbolizing the element between families. The over-use of non-allergic smoke (which was habituate to symbolize confusion) had a disparaging effect to the play. The poor air travel was barely tolerable and was directed by the brilliant Michael Marlin.

Jude Magee too helped in the directing transfer the music. The sub-standard music featured vocals, piano, drums and guitar. The ogre main actors were badly elect and neither managed to captivate the audience. some of the actors seemed nervous and often talked so fast it was difficult to substantiate them. The play was a calamity ? literally, it had the audience bored to tear!
